ESPN and the World Series of Poker have announced a multiyear agreement to bring the tournament back to the network's platforms this summer. The partnership will feature over 100 hours of coverage of the main event beginning July 2, culminating in a three-night linear finale for the final table from Aug. 3 to 5.

Early-round coverage will include three simultaneous featured tables, allowing viewers to see more hands from top players as they navigate the tournament. WSOP CEO Ty Stewart described the new broadcasts as offering a "high-paced viewing experience" designed to build momentum over the three-week timeline. The format serves as a spiritual successor to the 2008 "November Nine" concept.

ESPN first broadcast the main event in 1987 and has been involved in some capacity every decade since. For much of the partnership's history, the network aired the tournament on tape delay. The return marks a significant moment for poker fans, with ESPN vice president Ashley O'Connor expressing excitement about showcasing the tournament's intensity across platforms.
