Cameron Boozer dominated with 24 points and 13 rebounds as No. 1 Duke overwhelmed Notre Dame 100-56, handing the Irish their worst home loss since 1898. The Blue Devils (26-2, 14-1 ACC) ended Notre Dame's impressive streak of six home wins against No. 1 teams that dated back to when the Irish famously ended UCLA's record 88-game winning streak in 1974.

Boozer, a national Player of the Year contender, scored 20 points in the first half alone, hitting 10 of 12 shots as Duke built a commanding 54-22 halftime lead. Notre Dame (12-16, 3-12) played without freshman Jalen Haralson (ankle) and star guard Markus Burton (ankle surgery), who averaged 18.5 points. Head coach Micah Shrewsberry also suffered an apparent ankle injury during the contest.

Duke extended its winning streak after climbing to the top spot following Saturday's victory over then-No. 1 Michigan. The Blue Devils' balanced attack featured Darren Harris with 16 points, while Patrick Ngongba II and Caleb Foster added 13 each. Notre Dame's Cole Certa and Brady Koehler paced the Irish with 14 points apiece in the lopsided defeat.
