Duke has extended its record with a 149th No. 1 ranking in the AP Top 25 poll, receiving 55 of 59 first-place votes. The Blue Devils dominated last week with lopsided wins over Notre Dame and then-No. 11 Virginia, showcasing their defensive prowess by holding six consecutive opponents to an average of 57 points per game.

No. 2 Arizona climbed after clinching a share of the Big 12 regular-season title with an 84-61 win over No. 14 Kansas. Michigan, UConn, and Florida complete the top five. Duke's 100-56 demolition of Notre Dame marked the Fighting Irish's worst home loss since 1898, while the 77-51 victory over Virginia secured the top seed for the ACC tournament.

Texas Tech made the biggest jump, climbing six spots with wins over Cincinnati and at Iowa State. No. 19 Miami (Ohio) reached its highest ranking since 1952-53 as Division I's only remaining undefeated team. Saint Mary's entered the poll at No. 21 after defeating rival Gonzaga, while Miami returned to the rankings at No. 22 for the first time since 2023. The Big 12, Big Ten, and SEC are tied with five ranked teams each.
