With 23 career starts across 37 games at Stanford and Auburn, Daniels brings experience that the Seminoles desperately need after inconsistent quarterback play from transfers DJ Uiagalelei and Tommy Castellanos in recent seasons. His career stats include 4,783 passing yards and 1,397 rushing yards.

Norvell specifically praised Daniels' ability to deliver the ball and his growth on vertical throws during spring practices. "I've really been pleased with what he's shown," the coach said. Daniels' dual-threat capability could provide the consistency FSU has lacked at quarterback, though his performance will be closely scrutinized during the upcoming season as the Seminoles aim to bounce back from recent disappointments.
