UCLA cemented its grip on the top spot in the Week 7 college baseball rankings, holding steady at No. 1 while Texas and Georgia Tech maintained their positions at two and three following successful weekends. The rest of the top tier saw considerable churn, however, signaling midseason volatility across the nation's elite programs.

North Carolina vaulted back into the top 10 after dispatching Notre Dame in a sweep, and Oregon State earned its first top-10 placement after beating USC. Conversely, Arkansas suffered a massive drop, falling from fourth all the way to No. 17 after managing only a 1-3 record last week. Several teams entered the poll.

Alabama, Florida, Boston College, and UCF all secured spots in the top 25, displacing Tennessee, NC State, Ole Miss, and Notre Dame from the previous week's listing. Vanderbilt provided some of the weekend's most dramatic action, sweeping Tennessee via three consecutive walk-off wins across their series.

The marquee matchup pits No. 12 USC against No. 1 UCLA in a critical crosstown battle this weekend at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Arizona State's Landon Hairston, who has already hit four grand slams, is the player to track as his Sun Devils currently sit at No. 25.
