Florida forward Alex Condon, ranked No. 30 in ESPN’s Top 100, announced he will return for his senior season. The Australian‑born forward helped the Gators capture the 2024‑25 national title and earned two All‑SEC honors. After a 27‑8 campaign that earned a No. 1 seed before a second‑round loss to Iowa, Condon said the disappointment fuels his decision to stay and chase another championship.

Condon posted career‑best numbers this year, averaging 15.1 points on 55 % shooting, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.4 blocks. He finished the season strong, upping his output to 19.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.8 assists over the final ten games. The 6‑11 forward hopes to improve his three‑point and free‑throw percentages, currently 26.2 % and 63.8 %, to boost his draft stock.

Looking ahead, Condon targets first‑team All‑SEC recognition and All‑American consideration, believing consistent play will lift his projected first‑round slot in the 2027 NBA draft. He cites former Gators Walter Clayton, Alijah Martin and Will Richard as examples of how team success translates to individual opportunities. With his size, mobility and defensive versatility, Condon positions himself as a multifaceted prospect for scouts.
