The action wasn't without disruption, as a game between the Colorado Avalanche & Los Angeles Kings was temporarily delayed in the second period after a glass pane behind the Kings bench shattered when fans reacted violently to a penalty shot save by Avalanche goalie Scott Wedgewood stopping the attempt.
