Coller EQT co-leads continuation vehicle as EMK doubles down on VDK

Coller EQT has co-led a single-asset continuation vehicle, the VDK Partnership Fund, enabling EMK Capital to maintain its backing of VDK, a leading Dutch technical installation group. The fund offers EMK’s existing investors the choice to sell their stakes or roll them into the new structure, while also securing fresh capital for VDK’s acquisition pipeline and European expansion. EMK initially invested in VDK in December 2020, acquiring a majority stake from its founder, who reinvested alongside the firm.

At that time, VDK was a collection of semi-independent installation and maintenance businesses in the north-east of the Netherlands, formed through three acquisitions in 2013 covering heating and ventilation, security and alarm systems, and electrical engineering.
