### Lewis Hall Signs New Newcastle United Contract

Lewis Hall has signed a new long-term contract at Newcastle United, committing his future to St James' Park despite Manchester United interest last summer. The 22-year-old England international left-back joined from Chelsea in August 2023 and has made 107 appearances for the Magpies, including every round of their 2024/25 Carabao Cup triumph — their first domestic trophy in 70 years — though he missed the final through injury.

Hall said the deal was a proud moment, citing his family connection to the club and the fans. "It's an absolute pleasure to play for this club," he told the club's website, praising the support at St. James' Park and away grounds.

New head coach Matthias Jaissle praised Hall's importance, highlighting his defensive maturity, technical ability, and desire to improve. Jaissle noted Hall has played every minute this season across three Premier League games and both Carabao Cup wins, saying the best is still to come from the young defender.
