Cascade, a platform designed to help architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms find and win projects, has secured $3.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz Speedrun, with participation from Ada Ventures and Snowball VC.

Founded in 2025 by Hannia Zia and Joana Ferreira, Cascade addresses the challenges AEC businesses face in consistently acquiring work. The current project-finding process is described as a "constant treasure hunt," requiring firms to navigate numerous disparate state, city, and federal portals. Cascade aims to streamline this by tracking ongoing and upcoming projects and leveraging AI to predict which firms are likely to win bids.

The platform uses AI to identify projects with the highest win probability for its users, analyzing data signals from various government agencies and private contracts. Cascade also predicts future opportunities by monitoring past tender data, for instance, identifying which developers previously won specific grant types. This allows firms to proactively engage with potential partners. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its go-to-market strategy, organize industry events, and recruit more engineers. Cascade distinguishes itself with an AI-native approach, aiming to build a comprehensive industry map for predictive lead generation.
