London-based defence startup Uforce, which builds autonomous drones for land, air, and sea, is in talks to raise fresh funding less than six months after it hit unicorn status with a $1bn valuation. Sources say the startup is targeting upwards of $4bn in its new raise, potentially doubling its previous valuation.

Uforce is currently backed by investors including Palantir, alongside other major players in the defence sector. The company has seen significant momentum, having recently secured a $60m round.

Uforce's technology aims to provide a solution to the rapid evolution of warfare, particularly in the context of modern conflicts like the war in Ukraine. According to Uforce's CEO, the company is positioned to meet the growing demand for autonomous systems in global defence markets.
