Seapoint, an AI-powered financial operations platform for startups, has secured €7.5 million in seed funding to expand across Europe. The round was led by Creandum, with participation from existing investors including Stripe founders Patrick and John Collison.

The company was founded by Stripe alumni who previously built billing infrastructure at the payments giant. Seapoint helps startups automate financial workflows including invoicing, revenue recognition and cash flow management through AI agents.

"We're building the operating system for startup finance teams," said the co-founder. "Traditional tools weren't designed for the speed and complexity of modern startups."

The funding arrives amid growing demand for fintech automation tools, as startups seek to reduce manual finance operations amid tightening capital conditions.
