Anthropic is testing a new in‑chat app builder inside its Claude chatbot, according to screenshots shared on X. The prototype lets users create AI chatbots, photo albums or landing pages from plain prompts, effectively turning Claude into a full‑stack no‑code platform. If the feature rolls out, the U.S. AI firm will directly challenge Sweden’s vibe‑coding star Lovable for enterprises and startups.

Founded in 2023 by Anton Osika and Fabian Hedin, Lovable has become Europe’s most talked‑about startup as demand for intuitive, no‑code app tools soars. Last December it secured $330m in funding, lifting its valuation to $6.6bn and tripling the price tag from July 2025. Investors such as Accel, Creandum and Alphabet’s CapitalG back the round for future growth initiatives overall.

Anthropic’s move follows its recent foray into legal‑tech, a launch that prompted European legal startups to brace for competition. Analysts warn the new vibe‑coding suite could soon expand into sales, marketing or finance, echoing earlier concerns. With Lovable already courting M&A talent, the clash pits Big Tech’s resources against Europe’s fastest‑growing no‑code champion in the global AI race for growth.
