Robert Ross, a veteran private equity investment officer, is taking over the PE portfolio for Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS), sources told affiliate title Buyouts. Ross replaces Geoffrey Geiger, who left USS last year. A spokesperson for USS confirmed Ross's position as head of private equity funds and co-investments.

He will report to Ben Levenstein, head of private markets group. Ross decided to leave California State Teachers' Retirement System earlier this year, according to a LinkedIn post.
