Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Wolverhampton, UK, Apollo specializes in high-acuity care for children and adults with complex clinical needs. The company operates a hub model supported by a central office and employs over 1,000 healthcare assistants alongside 150 clinical and registered nurses.

Sovereign's investment will fund Apollo's geographic expansion across the Midlands, North, and East of England, alongside investments in people, technology, and client experience. The deal signals continued private equity interest in the growing healthcare-at-home sector.
