Inflexion has completed the sale of Avantus Aerospace to Arcline Investment Management, with the California-based aerospace and defense components manufacturer joining Arcline's portfolio through Novaria Group. The transaction marks the end of Inflexion's ownership that began with a secondary buyout nearly a decade ago.

Avantus originated from Shimtech, which Inflexion backed alongside Auctus Industries in 2015 before rebranding in 2020. Dan Strangio leads the company as CEO, overseeing production of critical components for defense and aerospace applications. The manufacturer will maintain its brand identity while operating under Novaria Group's umbrella.

Arcline's acquisition expands its footprint in the aerospace manufacturing sector, adding specialized component capabilities to its industrial holdings. The deal reflects continued private equity interest in defense-focused businesses amid elevated government spending on aerospace programs. Market conditions favor consolidation among suppliers serving prime contractors.

The transaction underscores how mid-market aerospace manufacturers remain attractive targets for institutional investors seeking exposure to long-term defense budget growth and commercial aviation recovery cycles.
