GetWhys, an AI‑driven customer intelligence startup in Boise, closed a $5.2 million seed‑II round, bringing total capital to roughly $8 million. Epic Ventures led the round, joined by CEAS Investments, Portland Seed Fund and existing backers Next Frontier Capital, Tuesday Capital and Capital Eleven. The cash will fund product expansion and hiring of sales and engineering talent.

The platform aggregates a proprietary library of in‑depth interviews with B2B software buyers, then makes the content searchable and feeds it into large‑language‑model analysis. Clients can also ingest internal assets such as sales‑call transcripts, turning raw dialogue into ready‑to‑use messaging, content and competitive intel. Current users include Intel, Verizon, DocuSign, Mission Cloud (CDW) and Commvault. The database grows automatically as new interviews are added.

Revenue surged more than tenfold last year, and the company now serves dozens of enterprise accounts that pay an upfront annual fee for unlimited platform access. Investors praised GetWhys for converting a once‑per‑client research model into a scalable data engine, displacing costly alternatives such as GLG. The round positions the firm to target mid‑market firms while sharpening its GTM workflow in 2026.
