Google DeepMind has unveiled **Nano Banana 2**, combining the advanced capabilities of Nano Banana Pro with the lightning-fast processing of **Gemini Flash**. This new image model delivers high-quality visual generation with rapid editing and iteration, bringing professional features to a broader audience while maintaining the speed expected from Flash technology across Google's ecosystem.

The model introduces **subject consistency** for maintaining character resemblance across multiple subjects and objects within single workflows. Users benefit from precise instruction following, **production-ready specs** with various aspect ratios from 512px to 4K, and enhanced visual fidelity with vibrant lighting and sharper details.

Nano Banana 2 is rolling out across Google products including the Gemini app, Search, AI Studio, and Google Ads. Google is also enhancing AI content identification through SynthID technology combined with C2PA Content Credentials, helping users identify AI-generated media while replacing Nano Banana Pro in most applications.
