### Fury vs Joshua: US venue buzzes as UK contract stands

Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s long‑awaited heavyweight showdown looks increasingly likely to be in America rather than the UK.

Eddie Hearn says Turki Alalshikh, who had been organising the all‑British bout, now prefers the clash to be in the **USA**. Alalshikh had earlier said he wanted the fight at a time that works for a global audience and would hold talks with the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, over a later‑than‑usual start time. But Sky Sports News revealed that Brent Council had not yet been contacted about extending the curfew at Wembley Stadium for a 2am ring walk.

Speaking to DAZN ahead of Joshua’s warm‑up fight with Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia, Hearn said: “We’ve been told in the last 24 hours that a fight in America is what they want.” He added that the contract states the bout must be in the **UK**, and if a change is sought, a renegotiation is required.

Fury questions Joshua’s “guts” after his victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. “I got through my test. Let’s see if \[Joshua] gets through his test,” Fury said, hinting the next big fight could be anywhere from Vegas to Pattaya.
