At CES 2026, Xthings unveiled the Ultraloq Bolt Sense, a next-generation smart lock featuring dual biometric authentication. The device combines 3D facial recognition with sub-surface palm vein scanning to ensure maximum security and reliability. Xthings states this dual approach compensates for the limitations of facial recognition alone, providing a fail-safe unlocking method.

The palm scanner remains effective even with wet hands, while advanced infrared and adaptive low-light sensors allow for hands-free unlocking day or night. The Bolt Sense is Matter-compatible, joining the Ultraloq Bolt Mission, which is currently available and offers Ultra Wideband unlocking. Xthings also introduced the Latch 7 Pro, supporting the Aliro standard.

The Bolt Sense is scheduled for release in Q2 2026.
