A known Weibo leaker, Fixed Focus Digital, has weighed in on the ongoing debate regarding the rumored 'Dark Cherry' color for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Addressing two different shades circulating online, the leaker claimed the darker version is the accurate one, describing it as a purplish red similar to a cherry rather than a brighter red.

This color has become a major focal point of the rumor cycle. Mark Gurman of Bloomberg was among the first to report on the deep red shade, while earlier reports indicated the color would use internal Pantone code 6076. This new 'Dark Cherry' is expected to replace Cosmic Orange as the line's headline shade.

Other leakers, including Sonny Dickson and Ice Universe, have previously corroborated the deep, wine-like tones. Apple is expected to officially unveil the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, alongside its first foldable iPhone, next month.
