AppleCare+ Prices Increase for Macs, iPads

Apple has increased the monthly subscription prices for AppleCare+ plans covering Macs and iPads in the U.S. Monthly plans are now $0.50 more expensive, and annual plans have increased by $5. These changes affect new subscriptions only; existing customers will maintain their current rates.

This adjustment follows recent price hikes on Macs and iPads themselves, attributed to global memory shortages and rising component costs, with increases ranging from $100 to $1,300. Notably, Apple has not altered the pricing for its AppleCare One subscription, which offers coverage for up to three devices at $19.99 per month.

Previously, iPhone AppleCare+ plans saw a 50-cent increase in early 2025, and further adjustments for iPhone coverage are anticipated with the upcoming September launch of new models.
