Apple is inviting WWDC 2026 developers to a special screening of "The Mandalorian and Grogu" at Apple Park. The screening will take place at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Tuesday, June 9 at the Steve Jobs Theater, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. Developers attending the in-person conference in Cupertino can RSVP on a first-come, first-served basis starting Thursday, June 4.

The film stars Pedro Pascal as the Mandalorian and was directed by Jon Favreau, who reportedly used the Apple Vision Pro headset to preview the IMAX version during production. A "special guest" will attend the screening, though Apple has not revealed their identity. The movie, released in the U.S. on May 22, represents Disney's latest Star Wars franchise installment and Apple's growing entertainment partnerships.

The screening highlights Apple's continued integration of entertainment content with its developer ecosystem. Developers chosen through Apple's lottery system will also attend the keynote and Platforms State of the Union, plus meet with Apple experts. This exclusive event demonstrates Apple's strategy to blend its hardware, software, and entertainment offerings for its developer community.
