WhatsApp has expanded its event creation features to include people without the app. Users can now create events with cover photos and shareable links. Guests can RSVP and view details without downloading WhatsApp, and the host's phone number remains hidden from unknown guests.
The update also introduces "Events Home," a centralized hub for managing RSVPs, setting custom reminders, and adding plus ones. All past and upcoming events are accessible via the Settings > Events menu. These updates are currently rolling out and will reach all users in the coming weeks.
