This move would finally bring the standard flagship model in line with its Plus sibling. It also addresses a long-standing criticism from tech enthusiasts who have watched Chinese competitors offer charging speeds well over 100W for years. Samsung has been notably conservative with charging rates since the Note 7 battery recalls.

The same report claims the S26 and S26+ will use Samsung's new Exynos 2600 chipset. The S26 Ultra is again tipped to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The entire Galaxy S26 series is rumored for an unveiling around February 25, 2026.
