Redmi Turbo 6 Max Specs Leak: Dimensity 9-Series, 7-Inch Screen

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is already developing a successor to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max that launched in January. Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will arrive around January 2026, roughly a year after its predecessor.

The device allegedly packs a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor, though the exact model remains unspecified. The current flagship in that lineup is the Dimensity 9400, but MediaTek could introduce a 9500 or 9400+ variant by the time this phone ships. The display is said to measure 7-inch with a 2K resolution, positioning it as a tablet-like phablet rather than a conventional smartphone.

Beyond screen size and chipset, no other specifications have surfaced — battery capacity, camera configuration, charging speeds, and pricing remain unknown. The Turbo 5 Max debuted at ¥1,999 ($275) for its base configuration, suggesting the successor will target the same aggressive mid-range segment.

A 7-inch panel at 2K resolution implies a pixel density around 420 ppi, sharp enough for media consumption but unusual for a pocketable device. If Redmi maintains the Turbo line's value proposition, this could pressure competitors like iQOO and Realme to offer larger screens at lower price points in China's crowded performance segment.
