The current Reno16 and Reno16 Pro both feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. If accurate, the Reno17 series could offer enhanced optical zoom capabilities through the teleconverter accessory. The tipster also noted Oppo previously tested a 68MP 1:1 square selfie camera for the Reno17, though it may have been scrapped.

The addition of teleconverter support might be tied to Oppo's plans to increase pricing for the new models.
