Oppo brought its Reno16 series to India this week, introducing both the standard Reno16 and a new budget-conscious Reno16c model. Unlike the global rollout that included a Pro variant, the Indian launch substitutes the premium model with the more affordable Reno16c, targeting price-sensitive consumers in the region.

The standard Reno16 maintains identical hardware to its international counterpart, while the Reno16c offers a simplified camera array but upgrades to a larger 7,000 mAh battery. Both phones debut alongside the Oppo Bubble, a magnetic 1.73-inch external display that mirrors the rear camera viewfinder for better selfies and functions as a remote shutter with IP54 rating and 550 mAh battery.

Pricing positions the Reno16 at INR 61,999 for the base 8GB/256GB model, with the 12GB version costing INR 6,000 more. The Reno16c starts at INR 46,999 for 8GB/128GB, scaling to INR 55,999 for the top-tier 12GB/256GB configuration. The Bubble accessory retails for INR 7,999.

Pre-orders begin July 9 through Amazon and Flipkart, giving Indian consumers access to Oppo's latest camera-focused lineup with options spanning different price points.
