Oppo Reno15 Pro India Review: 200MP Camera, 3600 nits Display

Oppo has launched its Reno15 series internationally, with the Reno15 Pro arriving in India under a different name in some markets. The Indian version features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 3,600 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. Our hands-on review reveals a premium design with a distinctive camera island that draws inevitable iPhone comparisons.

The smartphone packs a 200MP primary camera, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto setup. Oppo's Dynamic Stellar Ring Design creates a glowing halo effect around the camera module, while the One-piece Sculpted Glass construction integrates the camera island seamlessly with the back panel. Available in Sunset Gold and Cocoa Brown, the phone weighs 205g and measures 7.7mm thick.

Performance testing showed the display handles HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision content smoothly, with Widevine L1 certification enabling 1080p streaming. The 120Hz refresh rate adapts intelligently across apps, switching between 1Hz, 30Hz, 45Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, and 120Hz depending on content. While the optical fingerprint scanner works well, we'd prefer an ultrasonic version at this price point. The phone's flat design and substantial size make one-handed use challenging despite its solid in-hand feel.
