OnePlus is set to launch two flagship smartphones in India, with releases planned for December or early 2027. One model, the OnePlus 16R, is expected to be based on or a rebrand of the Ace 7, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 185Hz refresh rate, a 200MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, a 9,000 mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging, a metal frame, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The other device may be the OnePlus 16, despite prior rumors suggesting it would not launch in India.
The OnePlus 16 is scheduled to debut in China on October 12. While details remain unconfirmed, the tipster's report has sparked discussion about consumer interest in both models launching in India. Official confirmation from OnePlus is still pending.
