Nothing launched its latest true wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3a), alongside the Phone (4b). These earbuds feature an in-ear design with silicone tips, including a new XS size, and are powered by 12mm dynamic drivers that Nothing claims offer 5dB more bass than the previous Ear (a) model. The Ear (3a) incorporates active noise cancellation up to 45dB and a Transparency mode, plus support for Spatial Audio.

Each earbud has three microphones with AI-driven noise reduction. A novel feature allows users to record up to one minute of audio directly to the earbuds' 32MB internal storage, capturing sound from 30 seconds prior to the recording start. With ANC on, users get six hours of playback from the earbuds and 25 hours with the charging case. Disabling ANC extends this to 10 hours for the earbuds and a total of 42 hours with the case. Fast charging provides one hour of playback from a five-minute charge.

The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.0, Google Fast Pair, and SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs. While the earbuds retain a similar design, the charging case is rounder with an updated status light. The Nothing Ear (3a) is available in Black, Pink, White, and Yellow for $99.
