Motorola has launched the Edge 70 Fusion in India with a regional twist - it packs the newer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset instead of the 7s Gen 3 found in other markets. The phone arrives with a massive 7000mAh battery, making it one of the most power-hungry devices in its segment. Our hands-on time with the Pantone Blue Surf model revealed a premium curved display and distinctive fabric-textured rear panel.

The Indian variant ships with Android 16 out of the box and promises three years of OS upgrades plus five years of security updates. Storage options go up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Interestingly, the device comes pre-loaded with just three third-party apps - Facebook, Instagram, and Indus Appstore - with only the latter being non-removable. Benchmark tests showed the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 performs competitively against rivals in its class.

Battery life stands out as a major selling point, with the 7000mAh cell supporting 68W charging. In our tests, the phone charged from 1% to 100% in just over an hour, outpacing Motorola's own 50% in 30 minutes claim. The device also boasts IP68/IP69 ratings, MIL-STD-810H certification, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, making it a well-rounded option for users prioritizing longevity and durability.
