Honor is preparing to launch its next X series smartphone, the X80, in China this June according to tipster Digital Chat Station. Following last month's announcement of the Honor X80i, the new device appears to be the successor to the Honor X70. The leak confirms the company continues expanding its mid-range lineup in China.

The X80 features a flat 6.8-inch LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and will likely be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. Most notably, the device packs a 10,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The phone also offers a drop-resistant design and will be available in multiple color options.

This positioning shows Honor's strategy to compete in the mid-range with premium battery technology while maintaining competitive pricing. The combination of large capacity battery and fast charging addresses a key consumer need. Honor has not confirmed the specifications or release date officially.
