Honor's "Robot Phone" is reportedly launching in August, according to a rumor from Digital Chat Station. Honor previously announced a Q3 2024 release window, which spans July through September.

The device, first shown at CES in January and later at MWC, features a unique gimbal camera that retracts into the phone's body. This system provides stabilization and object tracking, similar to dedicated devices like the DJI Osmo Pocket.

Recently, the Robot Phone was used for filming at the Shanghai International Film Festival, demonstrating its advanced camera capabilities.
