Honor has quietly launched the Honor Pad X8b in Saudi Arabia, three and a half years after the original X8 tablet. The new device features an 11-inch 1920x1200 IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Running Android 16 with MagicOS 10, the tablet includes a 10,100 mAh battery and dual 5MP cameras. At 7.25mm thin and weighing 496g, it comes with a charger in the box. The Honor Pad X8b is priced at SAR 649 ($173) during a two-week launch promotion, after which it will cost SAR 849 ($226).

This release follows the X8a from 1.5 years ago, with the X8b offering a larger battery and SD card support. The naming convention remains confusing, but the tablet's competitive pricing and decent specifications make it an interesting option in the budget Android tablet market, particularly for Saudi Arabian consumers looking for an affordable large-screen device.
