Indian smartphone maker HMD Global has leaked pricing for its upcoming Crest 2 and Crest 2 Pro models. The base Crest 2 will retail at INR 14,999 ($131) for the 6 GB RAM/256 GB storage variant and will ship exclusively to India. The phone features a 6.78‑inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 5G, 50‑MP camera and a 6,000‑mAh battery with 33‑W fast charging.

Crest 2 Pro, priced at INR 16,999 ($183) for the 8 GB/256 GB trim, is slated for a Q3 launch between July and September. It shares the same Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC but ups the refresh rate to 120 Hz and the main sensor to 64 MP. Both variants ship with Android 16 out of the box in India only.

The Crest series will also debut Android 16 at launch, giving users a fresh software experience that includes native 5G support and a revamped UI. The 6,000‑mAh batteries with 33‑W charging promise 8‑hour playback and 1‑hour charge to 50 % on both models, meeting mid‑tier expectations in India markets and abroad.

Alongside the Crest line, HMD plans a successor to its Key device. The Key 2, targeting Europe, will feature a 6.56‑inch IPS LCD, 90‑Hz refresh, 5‑MP front camera, and a Unisoc T310 chipset with 4 GB RAM/64 GB storage. It will retail around £60‑70 and include a 5,000‑mAh battery with 10‑W charging in 2025, providing affordable mid‑tier smartphones.
