Google Chrome Gets Advanced Autofill on Mobile with Google Wallet Integration

Google is rolling out advanced autofill capabilities to Chrome on both Android and iOS platforms. The feature targets routine activities like flight check-ins and parking payments, aiming to reduce manual data entry across mobile workflows.

The browser now offers expanded Google Wallet integration, allowing Chrome to autofill saved credentials including driver's licenses, passports, and Known Traveler Numbers. When details aren't already saved, users can add them directly from Chrome during their first entry into forms.

Chrome prioritizes user control throughout the process. Explicit permission is required before saving or filling any data, with all information stored using encryption. Users can manage or update their autofill preferences in the 'Autofill and passwords' section of Chrome's settings.

These improvements position Google's mobile browser as a more integrated platform for travel-related transactions and secure data management.
