Google is testing a new "Device help" tool powered by Gemini for Pixel 11 devices. Available in the "plus" menu within Gemini, the feature appears in beta version 17.52 of the Google app and carries a Labs badge indicating it's an experimental feature. Users can engage in conversation with Gemini to troubleshoot various phone issues including connectivity problems, battery life concerns, audio glitches, and app performance.

The tool also helps manage device settings, free up storage space, audit app permissions, and configure notifications. Additionally, it provides step-by-step guidance on Pixel features, gestures, camera capabilities, and privacy settings. Currently in limited testing phase rather than full rollout, this represents Google's integration of Gemini AI into device support workflows.
