Nothing's upcoming CMF Phone 3 Pro won't arrive on the expected timeline. The successor to last year's CMF Phone 2 Pro was initially projected to debut this month, but new leaks point to a third quarter launch between August and September instead.

Rather than releasing the CMF device first, Nothing is reportedly prioritizing a budget Nothing-branded phone to hit the market earlier. This strategic shift could help the company capture different market segments before the premium CMF model arrives.

When it does launch, the CMF Phone 3 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a 5,500mAh battery with 45W charging, and a metal frame with triple rear cameras. The device will sport an AMOLED display at full-HD+ resolution, positioning it as a mid-range contender with premium build quality.

The delay gives competitors more time to establish their positions in the competitive mid-range smartphone market, where timing often determines success.
