Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference keynote centered on the next generation of Apple Intelligence, headlined by a revamped Siri powered by large language models. The assistant now handles complex queries while maintaining on-device privacy for sensitive requests. Beyond Siri, Apple demonstrated how its AI models are transforming core system apps across its ecosystem.

The Photos app received significant upgrades with Spatial Reframing, allowing users to drag and adjust photo perspectives in real-time using spatial understanding from Vision Pro technology. The Extend tool straightens horizons and adjusts aspect ratios without cropping important elements. Clean Up improvements promise better distraction removal with more realistic infill, even in complex scenes.

Safari introduces automatic tab organization by topic, a Notify Me feature for tracking web page changes, and Describe an Extension that generates custom Safari extensions from text prompts. Password management now automatically fixes weak or compromised credentials across websites with single-tap action. Image Playground leverages Private Cloud Compute for photorealistic image generation while keeping personal data private.

Compatibility requires iPhone 16 or later, iPhone 15 Pro models, iPad mini with A17 Pro, M1 iPads and Macs, Vision Pro, and Apple Watch Series 10 or later. Some features including image generation carry daily usage limits that expand with iCloud+ subscriptions, making this rollout both hardware-gated and subscription-tiered.
