Apple Creator Studio, launched in January as a subscription bundle for creative professionals, received its most significant update since launch. Final Cut Pro for Mac now integrates Motion VFX, providing thousands of templates, graphics, titles, and transitions, alongside rotoscoping, tracking, and color grading tools. The Content Hub is now available within Final Cut Pro, offering Apple-curated stock videos, photos, and backgrounds.

Users can open any timeline image in Pixelmator Pro with automatic saving back to the project, or generate images from text descriptions directly within the app. Additional features include enhanced keyframe easing, clip detachment from the primary storyline, and support for 23 new transcription languages. Motion now includes Motion VFX plug-ins for cinematic color grading, 3D camera tracking, and one-click selection, along with text-to-image generation and round-trip editing in Pixelmator Pro.

A new Displacement filter has been added. Compressor can now encode Cinematic mode video recorded on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. Pixelmator Pro introduces Generate Fill, allowing users to circle an area of an image and describe desired changes, matching lighting, perspective, and texture, with Super Resolution upscaling and insertion as a new layer with a mask.

Logic Pro on Mac and iPad features an all-new Liquid Glass design. On Mac, a new beta assistant powered by Apple-built and third-party models helps start new songs, set up vocal tracks from a single prompt, or refine active projects. The redesigned Browser consolidates loops, instruments, and effect patches, including a Splice library.

An on-device music understanding feature automatically analyzes and tags sounds for matching audio. Stem Splitter can isolate, replace, or rebalance drums, and a new Producer Pack from 20-time Grammy winner Sergio George is available. Voice Memo Studio Sound reduces room ambience and background noise from recordings on supported iPhones.

Keynote, Pages, and Numbers now include an AI assistant built on Apple models and OpenAI's, understanding document context to help design, animate, and refine slides in Keynote, draft and restructure text in Pages, and calculate, visualize, and organize data in Numbers, recommending chart types and building tables using world knowledge. New Model Context Protocol (MCP) support enables external AI agents to read content, make edits, and run automated actions in all three apps. They also receive stock video in the Content Hub and new templates and themes, while Keynote adds the open, JSON-based Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx).

Freeform gains text styles and custom board background colors, and in December, it will also get Pixelmator Pro image editing and editable shapes generated from text descriptions. The updates will be available on the App Store in November and are free for existing subscribers. The AI assistants are US English only and require an Apple Intelligence-capable device.

The one in Logic Pro needs macOS 27 Golden Gate, while the one in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers requires iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27. MCP support is Mac-only, on macOS 27. New subscribers pay $12.99 per month or $129 per year after a one-month free trial, with a new Mac or qualifying iPad providing three months free.

College students and educators pay $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year, and up to six family members can share a subscription.
