Coachella 2025 begins April 10, but you don't need a $650 ticket or a trip to the desert to attend. YouTube will livestream the entire festival for free, offering unprecedented access to all seven stages. This eliminates the major financial and logistical barriers for fans worldwide, transforming the event from an exclusive destination into a globally accessible digital experience.

Beyond the free entry, the technical production is a significant step forward. For the first time, YouTube will broadcast the main Coachella stage, Outdoor Theatre, and Sahara in 4K streams. The Quasar stage gets both horizontal and vertical feeds, and a multi-view option lets you watch up to four stages at once. A constant 24/7 "Coachella TV" stream also mixes this year's and past performances.

The digital experience aims to replicate the social vibe. YouTube's "Watch With" feature returns, pairing creators like Valkyrae and Daniel Wall with artists such as Katseye for real-time reaction. An online merch store offers exclusive items from bands like Foster the People, accessed via QR codes on screen. All programming kicks off April 10 at 4PM PT on the official Coachella YouTube channel.
