A Wyoming woman, Jane Doe 4, has joined a lawsuit accusing x AI’s Grok chatbot of creating child sexual abuse material. She alleges her stepfather used Grok to generate thousands of fake sexually explicit images of her as a child, some based on a photo taken when she was 11. Law enforcement subsequently raided her stepfather’s devices for CSAM, and two days later, he was found dead by suicide.

The suit follows earlier filings by three teenagers in Tennessee, now expanded to potentially include thousands of minors. The case builds on broader concerns about Grok, with California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta launching an investigation into x AI for similar issues, and the European Union opening its own probe. The company has not responded directly to the lawsuit updates.
