PlayStation's first State of Play of 2026 kicks off at 5PM ET on February 12, promising over an hour of reveals including updates on upcoming first-party games. The showcase will spotlight third-party and indie titles heading to PS5, with alternative streams available in English, Japanese, and with subtitles. Viewers can watch on YouTube or join live reactions in Twitch chat.

Sony's lineup includes three major first-party releases coming in the next few months: Saros, Marathon, and MLB The Show 26. Bungie has confirmed Marathon will appear during the event, though a rumored playtest this weekend has been debunked. The timing is notable as Konami has scheduled a Silent Hill Transmission presentation for 7PM the same day, potentially offering updates on the long-awaited Silent Hill: Townfall announced in 2022.

Other expected reveals include Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a tag-fighting game from Arc System Works with 20 initial fighters, following a Steam page leak. However, Marvel's Wolverine may not appear despite its fall 2026 release window, as developer Insomniac Games indicated more details would come in spring. The showcase could still provide a release date, especially with GTA VI now targeting November 2026, giving Sony breathing room to avoid direct competition.
