Ring rolled out a refresh of its battery‑powered doorbells, giving the flagship Battery Doorbell Pro (2nd gen) a 4K video sensor, 10× optical zoom and an upgraded battery that promises noticeably longer intervals between charges. The upgrade pushes the Pro’s price to $250, positioning it as the most capable wireless entry in Ring’s lineup, making it attractive for homeowners who prefer a clean exterior without wiring.

The Battery Doorbell Plus and the second‑generation Battery Doorbell both step up to 2K imaging with 6× zoom, and the Plus model adds a quick‑release battery pack for faster swaps. Those resolutions echo Ring’s wired doorbells unveiled in September 2025, and the company pairs the cameras with a new Solar Charger that mounts directly to the unit, plus a larger Solar Panel for more flexible placement.

All three doorbells, the Solar Charger and the larger panel are open for pre‑order today, priced at $180 for the Plus, $100 for the standard battery model, $50 for the charger and $60 for the panel. By delivering 4K and 2K video without a hard‑wired connection, Ring gives renters and homeowners a high‑resolution security option that rivals wired competitors.
