Apple's long-awaited foldable iPhone Duo arrives after a decade of rumors, positioning the company that makes the best tablets into the foldable space. The device features a 7.6-inch inner screen and iOS 27, maintaining a primarily iPhone experience rather than mimicking iPad functionality. Key innovations include side-shifted app docks and menus when unfolded, Apple Pencil support, and a matte nano-coating on screens that reduces reflections and obscures the foldable crease.

The asymmetric front-screen design with mixed corner shapes offers a distinctive aesthetic. Priced at $2,000, the Duo slots between the Pixel 11 Pro Fold ($1,899) and Galaxy Fold 8 Ultra ($2,100), undercutting expectations of a higher "Apple premium."
