### Instagram Adds Tagged Photos to Profile Grid Feature

Instagram now lets users promote tagged photos to their main profile grid. The Tagged tab remains for viewing all tagged posts, but users can now select specific ones — like group photos, creator collaborations, or memories — to display prominently. Multiple methods exist to add posts: from DM notifications, the three-dot menu on tagged posts, or by pressing and holding in the Tagged tab.

A notice clarifies that visibility depends on both accounts' privacy settings. Users can remove tagged posts from their grid without deleting them entirely. Added posts appear in reverse-chronological order by default but can be rearranged freely, building on Instagram's June 2024 profile reordering feature.

This gives users full control over their grid aesthetic regardless of original post dates.
