This week’s indie gaming highlights include the second Triple-i Initiative showcase, revealing Among Us Story: On Guard (Feb. 17), Strange Scaffold’s Xcom‑esque Gods With Badges, and Lazare’s Sacrifice from Gwent designer Damien Monnier. Playtests are live for Militsioner, an immersive sim where a near‑omniscient cop hunts you after a dubious trial. The Out of Bounds showcase featured bold titles like Bingone, Draftula, and Haunted Cleaner, while Convergence announced a new release date for Kick (Nov. 3).
Ludo Narra Con spotlights 50 narrative games, with a sale on over 150 titles through Oct. 15. Playdate Season 3 launched, and Star Wars: Galactic Racer’s single‑player campaign is free on Amazon Luna for Prime members. New releases include Forever Ago (Third Shift/Annapurna Interactive) on multiple platforms, often $20 with discounts.
