ESPN is increasing the cost of every subscription plan on September 17, marking the first price hike for its streaming platform which launched only last year. The Unlimited tier will cost $32 per month, up from $30, while the annual plan rises to $320 from $300. The Select tier increases to $14 per month from $13, with the annual version at $140 versus $130.

Bundle pricing is also affected: the combo subscription including ad-supported Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Select will cost $22 per month, up from $20. The ad-free Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Select bundle jumps to $33 from $30. However, bundles featuring ESPN Unlimited remain unchanged, likely due to 80 percent of Unlimited subscribers being part of Disney+/Hulu bundles.

Industry observers note that streaming services like Peacock and Netflix regularly implement annual price increases.
