Amazon Fire HD 10 Gets RAM Boost, Price Hike

Amazon has quietly updated its Fire HD 10 tablet, primarily boosting its RAM from 3GB to 4GB. This upgrade addresses a long-standing limitation, as the tablet has used 3GB for several years and initially launched with just 2GB in 2017. The processor and display remain unchanged, but charging time has improved slightly.

This refresh comes with a price increase, now costing $155, which is about $15 more than the outgoing model. Additionally, the new Fire HD 10 is exclusively available with 32GB of storage, omitting the 64GB option previously offered. Amazon has not confirmed if a higher storage variant will be released.

The tablet retains its 10.1-inch FHD touchscreen and approximate 13-hour battery life, positioning it as a capable device for media consumption and general use. Its durability also makes it a suitable option for children's use, though it lacks the power for demanding creative tasks.
